The Wind-sharp,
shaking out the dust
in the womans coat,
as she sits on the park bench
eating her meal for the day.
Her grey eyes drifting about
the grassy earth underfoot,
a pool of water,
left over from a rain storm,
reflecting a face
that was once beautiful.
The End.

in bed,
the only thing is
- the crumbs always
end up in your
belly button.

I Slept On Wood
The door was shut behind me
a single light looked down
as i slept on wood.
The window was sparkling
from the light,
its affect was magic,
to me,
as i slept on wood.
No trees to look at,
no person to say hello,
just a steel door,
closed,
as i slept on wood.
I took
a train
to a far
off place,
and came
back again.
The End.
And in a stream
a leaf floats,
as in a dream.
Down river it flows
to the sea, and,
drifts away
for ever.
I looked
inside
a cardboard box,
but there was nothing in it?
said the politician.
Leticia with green eyes
weekend surrealist,
setting up home
in a cardboard box,
compassionately waiting
for the sun to shine,
in a romantic trilogy of time.
Waiting, waiting, in ragged clothes,
to an unsung song, singing,
looking for food
none to be had,
but drinkning a bottle of wine
she was given.
The End.
A sombre reflection
of music,
a double bass
broken,
and left on the floor
in pieces.
And the toy teddy bear
looked on,
from the corner
of the toy box
at
the toy soldier,
banging a drum.
I leave my lifetime's work
to the world,
said the old man
as he slipped back
into
one of his own paintings.
For this painting was,
his life's work,
a work that took some fifty
years to paint,
a work of history.
