News 2008
In the 1930's Philip Hames and his family rented the
gate house at Kenilworth Castle as a home and furnished it with antiques.
The building has recently been restored by English Heritage and is now
open to the public for the first time in many years. The interior
furnishings have been based on the photographs in his book
Tea at the Castle,
published by the Odibourne Press. For more information on Kenilworth
Castle visit the English Heritage web site.
