Welcome to The Online Guitar Magazine! Thanks for checking back, It's been 2 months since the last Issue so you didn't miss a thing! If like me you learn to play guitar to Van Halen tunes then this month's issue should be a bit of a ride down Memory Lane for you, I've transcribed and created Backing tracks for what I feel are the definitive Van Halen tracks. And if you didn't grow up on Van Halen, get 'em learnt, they're bags of fun to play. Along with my attempts at recreating the Van Halen tunes I've got hold of Van Halen's Demo tape and stuck Runnin' With The Devil on the Rock page for you to have listen to. This month I've also got a new column from Gert de Meijer taking a look at 12 string playing techniques, which I feel complements Gilbert Isbin's second lesson on Acoustic fingerstyle perfectly. As you've no doubt noticed a Back Issues button is now on the Editorial page, all the stuff from the previous issue will be available shortly. I've now made Lessons and transcriptions available in Power Tab format (no guesses who won the Gear Review then!) and am also considering offering up the Artists guitar tone in POD 2 format , after last month's Review I got one myself.
