Nice to find a site devoted to Beckham. I am the great great grandson of Robert and Mary Ann (nee Basham) Beckham b. 1820 & 1825 resp.,in Mattishall Burgh, Norfolk, England. Robert got a free passage to Sth Africa in 1849 in exchange for labouring for a local farmer for a time. He was intent on following his older brother's Francis and Henry and their families to Australia. Francis & Henry had been sentenced to 10 years gaol in Pentonville Prison in 1843 for allegedly stealing a sheep. (There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest they may have been "set up/framed".) After 18 mths, Frances and Henry were exiled to Australia where they were indentured to a farmer with full board and reasonable enough pay to save for the passage of their wives and children who arrived in 1849. While in Sth Africa

My great-granfather was a Beckham, he resided in or around Lancaster, SC. I have little information about the Beckhams, even though there are several remaining cousins of my fathers. It was told to me that he was a 'root' doctor and possibly had two wives at the same time!! Not much was said about him. Grandparents have been dead since the early sixties, father died forty years ago, mother was quiet about that side of the family.

Very nice site, so glad that Lobob told me about it.I would like to share the little information i got. My father name was Royal Harrold Beckham and my mothers name was Bessie Ruth Wilkins. I have 4 brothers and three sisters two of my brothers have died there names where Rodney Allen Beckham and Randy Greene Beckham and my other two brothers names are Michael Louis Beckham and Ray Dean Beckham. My dads father name was Louis Greene Beckham and his mothers name was Mary Rector. My father was born in Decatur,ill I hope this helps someone. Dear Tom, have been aware of your interest in the BECKHAM name for some years now from others here in Australia. I am descendant from Francis BECKHAM exiled in 1843, who along with his brother Henry, were "exiled" to Austrlia, for the offence of sheep stealing. A third brother, Robert arrived Australia via South Africa 1853. Their parents were Daniel and Dinah BECKHAM (nee WEBSTER)and resided in Mattishall,Norfolk. All three went on to become farmers here in Victoria, Australia. I am in contact with family members from all three lines and have about 2500 names of descendants in Austrlia, as well as some from New Zealand. A fourth brother William BECKHAM went to Yorkshire. His son Benjamin BECKHAM went to USA and I also have some information on that line. I am happy to help and or provide information. Keep up

My great grandfather, Ephram Beckham, I am told, emigrated from Oklahoma, probably in the late 1800's. He settled in Pensacola, Florida and married Mary Farrines a women of creole and indian ancestry. They had children, Genevieve, Maxine, Frank, Alvin, Walter, Marie and Manny. Genevieve (my grandmother) married a gentleman from Japan (Kenji Inomata) who was a career navy man. The family moved to Los Angeles in 1928. Researching the birth family of my step-son Phil Agins. His mother was Louise Hazel Beckham McCarthy. She the daughter of Eugene Royal Beckham and Hazel Barnes. The family lived in Long Beach, Calif. My mother's maiden name was Beckham. We are decended from Francis Beckham (b. 1809 d. Nov. 11 1898) who was transported to Australia with his brother in about 1844. Their father was Daniel Beckham (b. 1771 d. April 22 1849), Mattishall Borough, Norfolk, UK. Re-visiting with a new email address. Looking for Mary BECKHAM who married John LORING on 18th Septemebr, 1800 in St. Marylebone, St. Mary St - Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England. I have been trying to find the maiden name of Feraba Beckham for 20 years to the detrament of my other genealogy. Her husband John Turner Beckham is as much of a mystery. His mothers name was Nancy, he was born 1815 in NC, his children were all born in IL and that is about all I have been able to find out about him. As Feraba was born in Tn I still have no idea where they were married.

I am a Beckham originally from Dover Kent. My Father, Frederick George was born on Dec 12 1917 and lived as a boy in Alexis Street Bermondsey. This house and street were bombed out in the war. He married my mother Edith in Rotherhithe in 1940. He had a good number of Brothers and sisters most of whom lived in the London area. There was Bob, George, Will, Charlie, Joe (He lived much of his life in Warrington) Lal, May and Ethel. There were others too who I can’t remember My Grandfather was also Charles Beckham (I was named after him) and he died around 1950. I don’t know for sure how many brothers and sisters he had. My dad died in 1986. If anyone knows of any of this Beckham family I would appreciate any information. Charles Beckham

My grandmother was Gertrude Edith Beckham born 27 April 1886, Wandsworth London. Her father John Bull Beckham born 1837 died 1907. Married Eliza Beckham nee ??? 1872 in Depwade Suffolk.

It will pull up his name and if you click on the name and then pedigree it will show a partial tree leading all the way back to the 1500's in England, if this helps out any for Beckham info.

My grandparents were from Oklahoma I understand my grandfather Arville was married twice his second wife was my grandmoher (Anna Mae) I've never actually met them. My father's mother was a Beckham. I have extensive data on Beckhams that I got from James Heidlebaugh. He sent me a whole cd-rom full of information and photos. There are a lot out there. My mother was Maud Beckham, one of 7 children from William Beckham and Annie Louisa (nee Knight) living in Kentish Town London. The name William covered four generations and believed to have come from Norfolk. William Beckham my grandfather had a brother Frank, sisters Annie, Clara and Maud. I can only trace my Beckham ancestors back to my Great Great Grandfather, Zachariah Beckham who fought for the confedreacy in the civil war. He was captured and died in a prison camp in Alton , IL.

i love david beckham and he seems to have such a nice personality and is a real family man. He always seems to look after Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and the rest of his family and he is a great football player! i went to the England match at ITFC a little while ago a he played really well and he is also very very fit! i also think Victoria is a great singer and very pretty and has the best wardrobe ever! i wish i was her.

I am the first of three sons from Pascagoula MS. My grand mother did a lot of work with our family tree. I don't have the info directly on our tree but I believe it would be easy to obtain. One thing I recall her concluding is that she traced our ancestry back to three brothers coming over by boat at the same time. I want to say that it was in the late 1700's.
