Clear Yellow. Clear Buff. A clear is a bird that as no dark marking on it, Before you show a Clear Canary make sure that the under side is clear, absolutely Clear round the thigh, if the thigh's are Dark with the smallest feathers you can bet the judge we see it and wrong class it.
Ticked Bird Yellow Ticked. Buff Ticked. A bird that has not more than one dark mark, that you can cover by a new penny, Or three dark feathers side by side on wing or tail.
Variegated Bird Yellow Variegated. Buff Variegated. A lightly Variegated Bird must be less than 50% dark feathers. If you have a border line decision ask the show manager for is advice.
Heavily Variegated. Yellow H/Variegated. Buff H/Variegated. A Heavily Variegated bird to be Greater than 50% Dark feathers, If you have a border line decision ask the show manager for is advice.
Foul Bird. Yellow Foul. Buff Foul. A Foul bird is one which has not more than One light mark coverable by a new penny, or three light feathers side by side on the wing or tail.
Self Bird. Yellow Self. Buff Self. A Self bird must be Dark all over. I.e.: no light feathers. Look for light feathers round the vent up throw the legs look at the bib under the beak.
Three Parts Dark. Yellow Three Parts Dark. Buff Three Parts Dark. A Three Parts Dark bird, is Greater than 75% Dark Feather. From one light mark Up to one. white feather in the wing or tail.
Cinnamon Birds Yellow Cinnamon. Buff Cinnamon. Cinnamons have a Classification the same as green bird. Light Variegated, Heavily Variegated, Self, or foul, usually cinnamon are not shown in normal class.
White Birds. White have a Classification the same as green bird. Light Variegated, Heavily Variegated, Self, or foul, usually Whites are not shown in normal class. Allied to white, Fawn bird are cinnamon factor in a white bird. |
