The engine ready for the sump.

First job is to fit the alloy block to the inlet on the oil pump. A small ali piece with an o ring either side then sits between this block and an aperture in the sump.

The sump is then fitted using Ford sealant and a nice set of new caphead bolts..........I`m going to have to chnage the rest of the bolts to match now.

The wet sump fitted leaving the engine ready for installation into the chassis

The large alloy sump bolt was drilled and tapped to accept a Caterham guage temp sender. This allows for the water guage to be switched between oil and water temperature.
