| The
passenger footwell needs to be slightly modified to improve the clearance
around the bellhousing. The photo shows the piece of ali cut which has
been cut to form the piece which will close the hole in the footwell. |

| The
piece of ali with the tabs folded and with a coat of aluminium primer.
This was later sprayed with Hammerite but it didn`t dry by the time we
were ready to install the engine so we have cleaned it all back to the
bare ali again. It`s virtually invisible once the engine is installed
so not really a big deal. |

photo showing why the footwell modification is required. Because we are
using the Raceline bellhousing which allows the engine to sit much further
back the starter motor is right up against the passenger footwell. With
the modification there is just enough clearance. |
