The engine and gearbox are installed into the chassis as one unit. Fitting was surprisingly easy which suggests that the duratec isn`t that much bigger than a K after all.
The right hand side mount fitted to block and chassis along with earth strap.
The left hand side mount fitted to the block and into the rearmost chassis mounting position. Unfortunately this means that the relocated washer bottle mount is no longer useable as the engine mount gets in the way of the washer bottle.
Once the engine and gearbox are in place the gearlever can be bolted onto the box.
