The Ford Duratec HE I4, a 2000cc 4 cylinder alloy block engine designed by Ford and Mazda.

The front of the engine showing the engine mount for a transverse application, again this will need to be machined off as an additional odler pulley will be installed and a different belt configuration adopted.
This engine has an alloy rocker cover, a lighter plastic cover is supplied on some engines. Aftermarket solutions are expected which will be of a lower profile helping with bonnet clearance.
