| The
"Caged" track day bar which is FIA approved when the optional
petty strut is fitted. As this makes the passenger seat unusable I doubt
if we will have it fitted much. |

| I
had a few problems with the rear diagonal mounts. The holes in the roll
bar were of a larger diameter than the holes in the chassis mounts. The
supplied bolts were also of a smaller diameter than the holes in the rollbar.
I have enlarged the holes in the chassis mounts and used a pair of the
petty strut bolts for now. Tey are a bit too long so I`ll replace these
when I get a few shorter ones. |

| The
other problem I encountered was getting the two bolts which screw up from
the top suspension mount, torqued to the build manual value. These bolts
have a low profile head which makes them hard to tighten as most sockets
have a chanfered edge. I tightned them up as much as I could without destroying
the bolt head. A quick check on blatchat confirmed this was normal practice
and it was even noted that quite often these bolts are left out. |
