THURSLAND HILL FISHERY

THE LAKES

The fishery has two lakes which are well stocked and maintained to a very high standard. 

Both waters are easily accessible. Car Parks and Caravan pitches are adjacent to the Lakes.  

The larger water (shown below), is home to Carp, Perch, Roach, Tench, Rudd and Bream. The largest of the Carp is 28 lbs in weight. This lake has 33 pegs, 5 of which have a grassed slope, ideal for wheel chair access. All the matches held at the fishery are on both lakes. (see CLUB MATCHES page).

The smaller of the two waters (shown below), has 15 pegs, all are easily accessible. Species of fish found in this water are Carp, Perch, Roach and Tench. This lake is one third of an acre.
