The Firecracker has earnt the reputation of being the most prestigious meeting in the country for showing off Banger Material. Entry is limited to some 200 cars due to pit space, and there are restrictions on what you can bring, ie Mk2 Granadas are not acceptable, unless they are limo or hearse versions and Volvos are frowned upon!

Rarest material came from Ireland, Fran Cassidy with a 1956 Dodge Royal Hearse. |
| And from Belgium, Jan 'Hunter' Verhoevan with a Warcazawa M20. These cars were built in Poland between 1946 and 1958, and are loosly based on Packard's built in the 1940's. This particular car was owned at one time by Karel Woijta, better known today as the POPE. | ![]() |
