British 2L Saloon Stock Car Championship
This was day 2 of Autospeed's Wekend Event, and featured the 2L Saloons Stock Car British Championship. Qualifying races had been held the night before. Racing format for the Sunday was a last chance qualifier, the Championship race, followed by two heats and a final. Dave Aldous won the last chance qualifier. Kenny Purdie (17) crossed the line ist in the championship race with Mo Crowson (5) and Shaun Webster (402) 2nd and 3rd, however, Purdie was disqualified after post race scrutinering promoting Croson to Champion and Dave Aldous to 3rd. The two heats were won by Eddie Darby (677) and Russ Williams (602). The allcomers final was won by Shaun Webster (402) from Gordon Alexander (71) and Russ Williams (602).
