F2 English Championship
40 plus cars competed for the English championship, with just two heats and a consolation; racing was very hectic, including a spectacular roll by Robert Rabjohns (918) in Heat 1. Wins went to Tim Farrell (667) and Bill Batten (167) in the heats with Mark Helliwell (170) taking the consolation. The Championship race saw 30 cars line up in average point's order and resulted in a relatively comfortable win for Chris Roots (667) from Chris Stephens (628) and Mark Helliwell (170). The Grand National was won by Andy Cooper (451).
