Icebreaker X

Sunday 2nd February 2001 saw the running of the tenth premier team meeting of the year held at Kings Lynn Raceway in Norfolk in appalling conditions, being held only 3 days after the worst snow storms for 10 years. Some 30 teams of up to six cars each competed for the coveted Team Prize which was eventually won by The Ant Hill Mob. There were some 160 cars in total of which there was some very impressive machinery amongst the Granadas, Jags and Volvos. Prizes were awarded for the smartest teams, details of which can be seen below.

Predators
won the best presented team award. The team comprised of Simon Reed (33), Steve Hemmings (401), Richard Regan (428), Ady Groom (776), and Paul Hemmings (537).

were awarded 2nd prize in the Smartest team competion. The team was Rob Kokx (12). Ton van Haaren (60), Frankie Whitelock (69), Glen Peetermans (111) and Jan Merkx (175).

Wolfpack
were awarded 3nd best prepared team award for their collection of Jaguar XJ6s. Their team was Evert Dijk (80), Rob De Boer (83) Ronny Hoeve (182), Brian Ter Doest (368), Arne Evertsen (501) and Morice Katier (885).
