Ripon Cathedral  Rochester Castle
oche Abbey was a Cistercian monastery founded in 1147 housing around 175 men. All that remains of the abbey above a couple of feet, are walls of the north and south transept. The ground plan of the whole site is visible so it is possible to imagine the size of the whole set of buildings.
