Tower Climbs
Did you know that you can explore the roof spaces and towers of cathedrals and enjoy spectacular views from the top?

Several cathedrals in Great Britain have tower tours that give you the chance to see how cathedrals were built. The tours cost a few pounds and are usually guided. You need to be fairly fit as there are several hundred steps to climb. The steps are usually in confined spiral staircases.

Note: Some tours need to be booked in advance, as at Sailsbury, or do not operate all year round so please check with the cathedral before you go.
