The player you control is indicated with an arrow at his feet. If the player has the ball this arrow is yellow and points to your opponents goal. If he does not have the ball then it is red and points to the ball. Control will automatically switch to another of your players if they are much closer to the ball. If you wish to switch to another player yourself simply tap the stylus on that man. If a player has to run for too long without a break he will become tired and slow down. |

Kick off
Once all the players are in position and the whistle has been blown you can kick off by clicking anywhere on the pitch or click on a player to pass to them. If you don't want to wait for all the players to get into position simply tab the stylus on the pitch and the game will advance straight to the kickoff.
Passing
When you have possession of the ball, tapping the stylus over another of your players will pass the ball to them. If an opposing player is between your player and the ball, it will be lobbed.
Tackling
To tackle an opposing player who has the ball, simply guide one of your own players across the front of him. Your players will sometimes perform a sliding tackle to knock the ball away from the other team. The more aggressive your team is, the more often they will opt for a sliding tackle. After a sliding tackle you will have to chase the ball to gain possession.
Scoring
To score you must have possession of the ball and be in sight of the opponents goal. Tap the stylus over the goal and your player will kick the ball into it at the point you clicked. It is best to try to aim the ball to the side of the opponents goal keeper. If the ball goes close the keeper he will catch it. If you aim to the side he will often dive to prevent you scoring.
Corners, throw-ins and goal kicks
When your team is awarded a corner, throw-in or goal kick simply tap where you want the player to aim the ball. The ball will be kicked or thrown back into play at this point.
Half time
During games of at least five minutes play will be interrupted half way through for half time. The teams will swap ends and kick off again.
