Map not to scale Please telephone before setting out on your journey to ensure we have in stock the item you are interested in. From Devil`s Bridge/ Pontarfynach , between the Hotel & `The Bridge` take the B4574 to Cwmystwyth , pass by The Arch continue, then turn right at the A.D.A.S. Pwllpeiran sign, Continue to the T-junction & turn right, continue to where the road divides, there is a sign for Hafod car park. You have arrived at Upper Lodge, Hafod. Distance 3.5- Miles approx. From Rhayader take the road to the Elan Valley after passing through Cwmdaudwr which is a short distance, turn right & take the mountain road to Aberystwyth continue to Cwmystwyth, after passing through the village turn left at the top of the hill & continue as though you were travelling to Pontrhydygroes. Upper Lodge Hafod is situated where the road divides at the Hafod car park sign.14-Miles approx. Both routes are very scenic, however it is inadvisable to use the mountain road if snow or ice are forecast.
