"Cashback"

"Cashback" is a scheme run by Northampton Saints, and has proved to be the major fund raiser for the Section over the last four years. In short, we sell tickets for specific games, and the Saints give Tows half the value of the tickets back, less Vat.

Thanks to your support, we raised over £2,800 last year. All the monies raised go straight back to the players as subsidised kit items at
registration, and as discounted ticket offers for club members.

We've run four Cashback "days" so far, all a great success. We take all the age groups to the Saints for the morning coaching session with Brett Taylor and the Saints Coaches.  From there, the lads move to the Tetley Village over lunch, then on to cheering the Saints in the big game.

Many of our teams have now played on Franklin's Gardens on the day of the big match. First up were the U16's after the Reivers game. The team made the most of the opportunity, beating Kettering in fine fashion, scoring nine tries to nil in a 55-0 victory.

We were presented with a cheque for £1,085 at half time, and the funds are again being used to support the players, providing club kitbags, to support the Annual Towcestrians "U15 Super Tens" Tournament , and again to give the discounted ticket offers to club members.

Our last trip saw Saints beat Rotherham during a great day. Club Training took place with the Saints in the morning while the Under 7, 8 & 9 A and B squads all played against Kibworth on the main pitch. This was followed after the Saints match by the Under 13's and 14's all enjoying the opportunity  of playing at Franklin's, again against Kibworth. The under 14's finished the day in fine style scoring 5 tries to one. A great day was had by all, and we raised over £500 to the Section's funds.

A further 50 Tows members took advantage of the tickets offer to see an excellent Saints peformance against Saracens in the quarter final play, leaving Tows as Cashback Champs for the third year running - a fantastic effort, and thanks to all concerned for their support the Club can fund next year's development of the Mini and Junior Section. We were presented with the Cashback Champions Trophy by Budge Pounty - lets keep it next year!
