The flowing curves and liquid motion of this painting being channelled by the metallic pipes indicates a need for order, control and paradoxically - release.

The act of sex on a simplified level is one of the physical. Primarily orchestrating sight, smell and tactile senses to initiate a sexual event.
However this scenario also applies to the creatures of the animal kingdom. Is mankind not above this, is the aesthetic and tactile aspects of sex merely a mask for the true nature. That being of the spiritual and psychological aspects of a sexual event.
Ones belief in being elevated above the materialistic values of everyday life brings us to a state whereby sex is a union of empathy and mutual understanding. A strengthening of this elevation can be seen in the cultural figure the Avatar. Having supported the seven virtues of mankind a person is elevated to become the embodiment of god. Materialistic values are of no importance, there is no factotum, everything can be seen in its truest sense.

On a more basic level Freud coined a condition which is alleged to be commonly shared by many people. That is the incest fantasy - falling in love with you mother and becoming jealous of your father.
Freud later called this the Oedipus Complex, which was the subject of the song "The End" by The Doors in 1966.
