The Original Image This simple image was quite small (about 600x450 pixels), personally when working with photos, I like images to be big (some might say huge) as this gives far more freedom to use tools such as the airbrush ect. Working with such a small photo became quite a challenge.

Image No:1 A simple idea based on water, the background was made from scratch using layers of Photoshop's different clouds filter, the main image was chromed and applied as several overlapping layers, lens flair, texture and colours where then added to finish this test image off. |

Image No:2 Based on the idea of using the hair as the iris of a human eye, this image was once again built up using many layers to add depth to the image, several filters where used including: a vortex tiling filter to give the impression of depth, the background was once again built from scratch using the airbrush tool. |
