This section details a variety of sources from which you can obtain more information about the sport, equipment and competitions. I’ve tried to make it as comprehensive as possible but if you know of any good sites or sources not mentioned please let me know. |

Air pistol FAQ’s (frequently asked questions). This is a great site, chock full of useful information. If you want a run down on the various CO2 pistols available, click on “Umarex” on the home page and you’ll see them all - Walther, Beretta, Smith & Wesson etc . The Anics Skif has a section all of its own. Lots of useful links are given too. Find the site at: http://www.pistolfaq.btinternet.co.uk/ |

Doug’s shooting pages. A mine of information on pistols, including strip down sequences and tuning. Well worth a visit, but DON’T be tempted to fiddle with your gun unless you REALLY know what you’re doing! You have been warned! Find the site at: http://www.westhouse.demon.co.uk/page5.htm |

Brocock paradise! A hugely useful range of information for existing or aspiring Brocock users, written by a regular competitor (and winner) on the PP competition circuit. The link’s HERE. |

UK Gun Products. This site is run by Bob Ruggles and concentrates heavily on “Dynamic” pellets (you can read all about them on the site). There’s other useful stuff there too though, but you’ll have to dig around a bit to find it! Bob is a keen shooter and attends virtually every PP competition. He brings with him stocks of holsters, belts, etc. etc. so if you need any kit give him a try. http://www.ukgunproducts.com/ |

Mail order suppliers. I haven’t used any of these but from what I hear the service offered is usually pretty good. Check the ads in Airgun World and Airgunner - quite a few of the advertisers run web sites and you can often order on line too. |
Gun shops. If there’s a GOOD retailer near you, I’d suggest you use them. May cost you a pound or two more than mail order only suppliers, but you’ll find you get lots of help and advice. |

Blackpool Air Rifles (BAR). Very well regarded by the airgunning “fraternity”. High standards of service coupled with sound advice. Check out their web site: http://www.airgunbuyer.com/ |
Airsoft. One of the regulars on the PP competition circuit, Paul Foster, has got so heavily into Airsoft that he’s started up his own company producing “bespoke” pistols for serious competition. These are, most definitely, not toys! Link to his web site HERE. |

These are good places to ask questions, gather information or just talk airguns. There are several about but those I’d suggest are listed below. If you’re serious about PP the “must see” site is the Practical Pistol BBS which is where the regular shooters congregate. It’s free - you just have to register, which is easy. |
Airgun BBS. The biggest and most popular “general” BB. Ask a question and you’ll probably get swamped with answers! Click HERE for a link. |
AirGunForum. Another “general” BB for airgunners. Well disciplined and lots of helpful people. Click HERE for a link. |
Practical Pistol BBS. Set up specifically for PP. This is where we all meet & “chat”, post details of upcoming comps, deal with technical queries etc. etc.. Join in by clicking HERE. |
