Two  new cocks, 1 yellow 1 buff, from this years breeding, each year you  alternate the cocks yellow  or buff at the bottom of the line.

First year’s ring’s  each line as it's own colour

1 to 50 numbered Black.   1 to 50 numbered Mauve

1 to 50 numbered Dark Blue.    1 to 50 numbered Green

Cock 4    goes to 3

Cock 5    goes to 4

New cock 5   best young buff or yellow cock overall from black line 

Cock 1    Has the 1st  pick of all the hens from pairs          1 2 4 5 6 7

Cock 2    Has the 2nd pick of all the hens from pairs             1 2 3 5

Cock 3   Has the pick of the hens from pairs 5 6 only. This pairing makes the line cock's breed, with hens from the out crossers young.

Cock 4   Has the 3rd pick of all the hens from pairs     1 2 3 4        

Cock 5   Has the two yellow hens from the (year before) top of blue line pairs 1 & 2

Cocks 1 to 5 can pick the hens from the year before if the young are very good.

 At start of breeding all birds for black line, have numbered rings -1 to 12

Cocks have 1 to 5

Hens have 6 to 12

Paul has 2 line's in his shed. Green, Blue. I have  Black,  Mauve.

 We have 4 line's 2 in each shed, we bring a out -cross in to each line from the top of last years pairings. 1st year black line, 2nd year blue line, 3rd year pink line, 4th year green line.

Rich, Soft,& pure, as level in tint as possible throughout, but extreme depth of hardness such as colour feeding ,makes you DEBARRED.

Of medium length, showing a little thigh.

Chest

Rounded, but neither heavy nor prominent

Position & Carriage

semi-erect, standing at an angle of 60 degrees. gay, jaunty with full poise of head.

Tail

Close packed & narrow, being nicely rounded & filled in at the root.

Wings

Compact & carried close to the body, meeting at the tips, just below the root of the tail.

Body

Well filled & nicely rounded running in almost a straight line from the gentle rise over the shoulders to the point of the tall.

Plumage

Close, firm. fine in quality

Head

Small round & neat beak fine, eyes central to roundness of body.
