This is a true favourite of
mine, not because it is great or technically brilliant,
simply that it works very well.
I love the tight cropping of the frame. The fact the
background we see is to our right, but the light source
is from where the model is looking. What is she looking
at? Her arm and hand augments her figure perfectly. The
pose says so much. Is she cold and waiting for someone,
maybe the way her shoulder is raised she's angry.
Whatever, this is no classic shot, yet it works on every
level that's been discussed so far on this site.
