| Medinaceli has the remains of its ancient arab town walls and the only remaining example of a Roman triple arch gateway in Spain. It sits on the edge of a plateau with lovely views and an unspoilt character. Detail | ![]() |

The town of Mora is situated 32km south of Toledo and has an unusual police station. Most Spanish police stations are austere, but this one seems to have been heavily influenced by Moorish architecture. Detail |
