the time | After
over a year if regular monthly live improvised electronic music concerts, releasing
2 live albums, Chris Conway decided to take his Continuum trio into a big studio
and record especially the drums in a more controlled environment - recording drums
live often makes for compromises. The drums sounding so full and dynamic moved
the music away from some of the minimal ambient music that can be heard on their
previous Best Kept Secret album. This made things more lively, perhaps with
more of an ECM jazz feel to the sound and with more soloing and interaction than
before. | | influences |

| Retrospect | This
album captured a wider variety of sounds from Continuum. Sometimes wild, sometimes
haunting and reflective, fusing electronic music, jazz, ambient, minimal and more
ina unique way. This album also launched a new label for CCs electronic music
- Zorpin Music. |
