The Christmas concert at Kirby Twins Acoustic Club in the packed village hall in Kirby Bellars, Leicestershire is like a homecoming concert for Govannen. The hall was full of 100 fans - mostly all local friends. The Govannen sound had been strengthened by the addition of Neil Rabjohn on cajon drum and a recording was taken by the band to hear how things sounded. The holiday season added a couple of Christmas touches, but also gave them the opportunity to play a couple of popular songs, take some requests, and stretch out a few arrangements of traditional tunes.
