background
Remastered
rerelease of their stunning debut album from 1993. Great songs,
harmonies and playing Like a kind of Celtic tinged Crosby Stills
& Nash.
The
album had a magical innocence that marks it as a classic. All
of the elements of their music was layed out here - awesome songs,
interplay, harmonies and novel instrumentation marked The Storm
Thieves out right away. Many songs on this album continue in their
solo and band repetoires.
Dan & Dave had been working together in a songs band The Horse
Thieves, and then as a duo.
In 1992 with Chris, as a trio they made an instrumental folk-jazz
album as Leaf Storm
Chris then joined the songs duo which became The Storm Thieves,
and there followed a hugely fruitful period of songwrtiting and
performing for all of them.

to 2 track DAT took much of the time.
