As you may or may not be aware Pepe and Brenda, after 27 years of time served will leaving for the hotter climate of Argentina on 27 December 2009. After much consultation I will be taking over the club in the new year.

My name is Phil Francis and I have know Pepe for 35 years, I started karate at the age of 12 with Ishinryu and competed for England and Great Britain at national and European level, winning many titles including English and British Championships, European silver, bronze, and many more. I have run my own club for the past 25 years producing many successful students at club and national level.

I appreciate the changes you have all recently experienced on leaving Ishinryu but I can assure you of the following:

: There will be no change to the club structure
: The club name and syllabus will remain the same
: The current fee structure will remain
: Senior students that currently help teach sessions will remain
: I will be teaching all the lessons
: All the current times and days will remain the same
: The support that students have received for major competitions will remain
