In the first photograph you can see a close up of the blanking plug fitted to the timing points for normal use.
This is the dial guage adaptor. The shaft of your guage is locked into place firmly by the locking screw.
And quick and easy timing of the cams becomes a cinch! The other thing to remember is that normally a piece of flimsy "Meccano" is used by most engine tuners to hold the dial guage steady during cam timing. With the V11UFO Racing system you are using the rock steady, perfectly flat surface of the cam cover to ensure a perfect result every time. |
