The private estate
of Vale Mascal is now available for civil weddings,
marriage blessings, and naming ceremonies. Thomas
Tash built this historic Georgian Manor as the dower
house to Mount Mascal in 1740. The interior has a
fine oak panelled dining room and a large Adam
drawing room with contemporary plasterwork. Two
generations of the Grant family have maintained and
improved the house and grounds with sensitivity and
dedication for over fifty years.
Within these stunning, hidden gardens, said to be
landscaped by Capability Brown, is the chance for
your photographs to be taken in an exceptional
variety of romantic settings. Green lawns sweep down
to the river Cray with a magnificent backdrop of huge
mature trees, white swans glide past the island and
the marble
Italian gazebo.
These lovely grounds also boast beautiful
ornamental bridges, woodland, statuary, and a picturesque
rockery grotto with its cave, waterfall and streams.
The opportunities are truly outstanding.
Have your photographs taken whilst your guests sip
champagne, stroll and explore for up to two hours!
The registrar will perform your ceremony in the
classic elegance of the Adam drawing room,
seating up to
forty guests, with magnificent views of the river and
grounds. Naming
