Ishnik (ISH-nick) means South-land. The people are the Ishnan (ISH-nan). The coast is on the Shallow Sea.

The customs are as those of Lamnid, except that less emphasis is placed on cleanliness and public nudity is not acceptable.

Tough or studded leather is the normal armor. The cavalry use heavy javelins, keeping one to use as a spear. The long spear is the most common weapon.
