St Bart's has been a focus for Christian worship and service in this community since 1150 AD. The present building is set in a beautiful churchyard on Station Road and dates from 1791. St Bart's parish now extends from the Great Lime Road to Coach Lane, and from the Asda store to Four Lane Ends.

People have worshipped God at St Bart's for over 850 years. The main family service is the Parish Eucharist on Sundays at 10am. There are crèche facilities and separate activities for the older children.

Other Eucharist Services  on Sundays are at 8am and 11.45am.
At 6pm there is a traditional, choir-led Evensong
