Scene Five
Changing RoomsScene Five consists of a skit on the BBC's show "changing rooms". In
Peter Pantomime it is included in the plot as Hugh Darling enters to tell his wife (the Producer) May Darling that the children are missing. May, who is usually totally work obsessed, leaves the show to Sharon Slimey, Lawrence Didwellyn-Sewing, Ann T Gravity and Andy Pandy. Four "volunteers" from the audience and the cameraman (Lee Cooper) make up the cast. The show had a live feed of the action to a projected TV image behind. May and Hugh return to their house to find the children (in Scene 9).|
