After the Ball, Pearl (Ian Cook) and Dean (Lee Cooper) return at 8 a.m. worse for wear. They claim they've been jogging but actually they've been on a pub crawl vua the Coopers Arms.

The wanderers return "We've been jogging" and found some friends (Andrew Brown and Nigel Hurt). Dean and Pearl explain their arrival to Brian (Bernadette Byrne) and Mrs W (Debbie Rimmington). At the window at the back is the Old Plough with a poster for the Pop Performers concert.

Zinders mates arrive. Brian makes them welcome but Mrs Weston wants to know why they are there. From left to right Velcro (Marianne Bamkin), Zips (Yasmyn Ford-Poulson), Hook (Jo Asher), Toggle (Eleanor Dumbill), Buttons (Tessa Bamkin), Bow (Freya Scott), Mrs Weston (Debbie Rimmington) and Brian (Bernadette Byrne).

Dan D Nee (Sophie Dawson) and Mel Bourne-Hall come to Zinders house (Pinfold Manor) to meet Zinder (Harriet Rimmington) and all of Zinder's mates. They try to find the owner of the shoe, but Mrs Weston (Debbie Rimmington) has sent Zinder out to deliver the Village Newsletter as its part of her plot to take over the community.
