The Ann T Gravity interview

Decorator, interior designer and television personality, Ann lives in Brussels with four ex-stars of the gladiators.

What is your most embaressing moment?
(Laura Poole, Derbyshire)

Working in Weston-on-Trent earlier this year. Lawrence Didwellyn-Sowing thinks he is God's gift to women - actually I prefer Andy Pandy.

Who are your favourite stars?
(Caroline Icke)

Mel Gibson, Tony Robinson. Dermot thingy, you know the gardener) and Keannu Reaves.

How do you choose what nail varnish to wear each morning?
(Sophie and Victoria Brown)

I look at which one is particularly delicious and decide which will clash most nicely with the outfits I intend to wear.

How did you get your first job as presenter?
(Elizabeth and Louise White)

I happened to be decorating the BBC canteen when May Darling saw me. She was having problems with Lawrence who refused to appear as he had a spot on his nose that day.

What are your tips for children who want to get ahead in Show Business?
I would say, don't stop with your head, get all of you in show business, and if you first get refused, just try , try, try again until you become very trying, then they will certainly give you a job.
