Frederic and Sarah Anne Bamkin
Earliest references are to Bamkin's living in Rothley a small village north of Leicester in the UK. One of the first pieces of the Bamkin Family fitting together was when Vera Rowe (nee Bamkin) wrote to the BBC following an interview with Walter Harold Bamkin and his planning problems. She thought the name was about to die out as there were no "Bamkins" in the next generation. Actually there are still Bamkins in the UK, USA and Australia.
