	Married Jane Ann (Jennie) Burns At Cockermouth, Sept 1910	Had a child called John Burns Bamkin who married Jean Hancock they had Valerie Jean, Clare Patricia Anne , Roger John Bamkin (married Marianne Ruth King) and Keith Michael Bamkin
	Started J.W.Bamkin Co Ltd of Harrison Road, Belgrave, Leicester (which was where the photo was taken). Died 19 October 1954 “Jack” was awarded US patent number 1855541 for a “girth tightening mchanasm” in 1930.
