The Lawrence Didwellyn-Sewing interview
Decorator, interior designer and handsome hunk. Lawrence was grabbed from obscurity to join the hit show changing rooms. Still a pin-up with most women, Lawrence puts his rugged good looks down to oil of ulay.
What is your most embaressing moment?
(Melissa Dunn, Derbyshire)
I did this wonderful design for a couple in Weston-on-Trent. Really technicolor tetrahedrans with a beautiful textile effect. At the grand moment the producer returned and cancelled the show.
Do you have favourite designers?
(Tessa and Yasmyn, Weston)
Ann T Gravity tries too hard. I believe that is Andy Warhol had let himselg go a bit more then he could have been as good as me.
Who are your favourite stars?
(Martin and Pauline)
Danny As-Been used to be quite good, as was Pres-Lee. Nowadays I prefer Sharon Slimey.
How did you get involved in Television
(Katherine Graham)
There was a female producer for the show who ran the auditions. Understandably she may well have fallen for my charms. I don't mean to be gorgeous ... it just happens.
What are your tips for children who want to get ahead in Show Business?
The internet is the thing of the future, which is where I am hoping to relaunch my career. Anyone who can, say, get experience in community theatre and get some world-wide exposure is certainly set for the top.
