The Brigadier came on at the end of scene one and interrupted Dances with Sheep and Mullins in the middle of an out of control Monty Python dead/red parrot sketch. |

May (Barbara Chawner) and Hugh (Trevor White) Darling - May Darling is the famous producer of Changing Rooms. Hugh is the main source of income for the Plough and Bournemouth A.F.C. (Hugh bears an uncanny resemblance to the 90's TV presenter Danny As-Been) and the Brigadier.One of Hugh's drinking partners is Claude Bottom who unsuccessfully tried to proposition May. This scene is demonstrated in the script sample available on this site. |
