May (Barbara Chawner) and Hugh (Trevor White) Darling - May Darling is the famous producer of Changing Rooms. Hugh is the main source of income for the Plough and Bournemouth A.F.C. (Hugh bears an uncanny resemblance to the 90's TV presenter Danny As-Been) and the Brigadier.One of Hugh's drinking partners is Claude Bottom who unsuccessfully tried to proposition May.
