what is this picture for? Interview with Danny As-been - the star of the Princes Right
Where are they now?

Surely not Danny As-Been trying to get a job?

... just visiting an old friend says Danny...
The Danny As-Been Interview

The man that many said had more chin than Brucey! Chat show host, comedian and entertainer to the elderly, Danny As-Been had a short and meteoric rise to fame in the 1990s. Now semi-retired, Danny is planning another comeback later this year. Separated from his third wife, Danny lives alone in Henley on Thames (sad). He currently produces a short weekly programme for Radio 4.

What is your most embarrassing moment?
(Jane Edwards, Chi Plak)
The Prince's Right was the most difficult show, as Tai-Rack was not the most stable of princesses, and they had three contestants: a Mr Walter Wall, Mr Yoo Hoo and Mr No-Watt, and I'm not sure why but no-one seemed to know which order they were meant to be questioned in. Then, this guy called Al came and used some kind of trick to win her hand. The Empress Nokia and the Emperor Nintendo didn't help.

Do you have favourite directors?
(S.Speilberg)
With a skilled personality, it is difficult to do badly. However, I had one director, a Mr. De Mille who completely messed up an episode of The Princes's Right from a nice place called Chi Plak.

Who are your favourite stars?
(Walter Wall of Henley)
Assistants I have had like Bimbo and Barbee have never really been able to cut the mustard. It's a mistake, I think, taking them off the Chinese government training scheme. It feels more like care in the community!

Why did you give up television?
(Mr. Yoo Hoo from the Reading Road)
I'd rather not talk about it.... I mean I'm semi-retired... although I am planning a comeback.

How did you get your first job as presenter?
(J Ross)
I was understudying another famous celebrity when he became ill with food poisoning. It was such a pity, but a great opportunity for me. He never forgave me which was a pity as we had been good friends, only the night before he went ill, he had come for dinner at my house...

What are your tips for children who want to get ahead in Show Business?

(Bonsai)
Pantomime is the thing of the future, which is where I am hoping to relaunch my career in somewhere like Brean in Somerset. The important thing is to get a very good script, an excellent cast and most of all - have fun!.
