The Timewarp interview

In Memory of Alan Simpson who entertained so many before his death in 2004. Sadly missed.

Has success changed you?
(Danny As-been, Derbyshire)

Other entertainers have taken to smart cars and employing many people who are merely hangers-on. Since we started to be recognised, we have avoided this pitfall. Despite all the money we make we still spend time down our local.

Who are your favourite stars?
(Sharon Slimey)

Elvis is still the king and Abba were very good. We do a lot of their numbers and some of the songs are now quite famous. Its thrilling to see our audience pick up the words to one of our numbers - we know then that people have learnt the words to one of the songs. I don't think we can take all the credit, but you can now see some of these songs being taken up by other bands like S Club 7. You may not have heard of them - but we think they may become quite popular.

What are your tips for children who want to get ahead in Show Business?
I would say, don't stop with your head, get all of you in show business, and if you first get refused, just try , try, try again until you become very trying, then they will certainly give you a job.
