Bath is situated approximately 120 miles to the west of Central London and 100 miles from
London's Heathrow International Airport. A car journey will take approximately 2 hours from the centre of London
or 1½ hours from the airport, depending on the time of day. The Villa Magdala is very easily reached by
road, and is almost unique in Bath in that it has its own private off-street car park for the use of guests,
removing completely the difficulties of trying to park in the city.
Alternatively there are excellent rail links, with a direct service from London Paddington
to Bath Spa stations. There is an hourly service throughout the day with trains running every 30 minutes at peak
times. Bath Spa is only a ten minute level walk through the city to the Villa Magdala, and taxis are available at
the station. A coach service to Bath is also available from London Victoria.
