For this game you need a cork blackened with a pen or from a flame. Layers are numbered Ibble Dibble 1, Ibble Dibble 2, and so on. going around the table. Ibble Dibble 1 starts the game by passing the state of play to any other player eg. “Ibble Dibble 1 with no Dobbles to Ibble Dibble 3 with no Dobbles,” and points to number 3. Ibble Dibble 3 then continues by passing play to another Ibble Dibble, and so on.
If a player makes a mistake and says something non-sensical, the cork is used to make a mark (a Dobble) on their face. If this happens to number 3 for example they would then become Ibble Dibble Number 3, with 1 Dobble, and so on. If a player points at a wrong player, becomes tongue tied, or uses the wrong number of Dobbles, they must pay a drinking forfeit.
