Claire has been thinking of things that should not concern her,
so thinks Big Brother. The new arrival has been finding it hard
to block out the outside world and has already been thinking of
past TV coverage of the show.
"This is really weird," Claire began, seated in the
Diary Room. "But I wanted to know if I am going to get my
own hamster?"
The 'hamster' relates to the guinea pig sketch woven into the
Friday night live show, where a guinea pig is evicted alongside
the house member. "Big Brother does not know," was the
reply.
"Oh, I do have another question," Claire continued.
"I wanted to tell the others about an advert but I wasn't
sure if it had just come out."
Big Brother advised Claire to bite her tongue before
launching headfirst into conversations, "Try to act natural
and not perform for the camera," Big Brother advised.
"If in doubt, leave it out."
New to the Diary Room and receiving robotic commands from Big
Brother, Claire shrugged and added, "I just thought I'd
come and see you as the others said you were bored."
"Big Brother is never bored," the voice coldly
concluded.

Clucking
hell - Stupid housemates poison Marjorie?
|
|
Citybound housemates (cept Thomas) have been feeding Marjorie and
henmates banana skins and potato peelings. This made them poo for
England.
Now they are better and will be returning today, and a fence
will be erected to protect them from getting into contact with any
pesticides in the garden.

Mel
is a Soppy Cow after all
|
|
Claire may have divided the loyalties of the boys to the other
girls, but her arrival has brought Mel and Anna closertogether.
Mel, who usually has her guard firmly up around the boys, has
finally opened up about her first loves in a intimate conversation
with the listening nun.
For the first time, fiery Mel felt comfortable enough to spill
the beans on her past loves. She said she experienced a time when
she wondered if she was gay. "The whole idea of women became
really appealing," Mel said, looking back to when she, in her
late teens, visited gay bars. "It all seemed simple and so
sexy."
She told Anna how she enjoyed women making passes at her,
before going into lengthy detail about her first love - an older
man. "I had this feeling of 'I want to be with you so
much.'" She said. "I would be on the other side of the
room and I still wasn't close enough to him. I would have to walk
over and touch him then it would be OK."
After the older man had dumped Mel, she pined for years waiting
for him to return and despite her attempts to contact him, he
never got in touch. Then finally she bumped into him again and was
surprised at what she saw. "I met him again and saw this
pathetic person in front of me. He looked so weak, I felt so
strong."
After spilling her heart out to Anna, the ex-nun inquired why
Mel felt so passionately for the man. Mel spent some time tumbling
the thoughts over in her head, before shrugging. "I don't
know."
So, after boasts of running men into the ground, breaking an
ex-boyfriend's nose with a single punch and boasts of how wild and
fiery she is on the outside, Mel is as soft, soppy and sensitive
as the rest of us. Which is nice.

Get Thee
to a Nunnery!
|
|
A Nun's life.
Anna has opened her heart to Mel about her real motivation for
entering and leaving the convent.
Surprisingly, she claims it was a spur of the moment decision.
"I had a funny holy experience thing," she told Mel.
"I was trying to decide what I wanted to do in life. And then
I decided one day I would go to the convent and become a nun. But
I ended up getting very tormented about it. I didn't even read the
bible, I just opened the page and it was St. Steven and it said:
'you will follow me' and I did."
But despite making an immediate decision to follow her calling
her decision was far from popular with her mother.
"It was awful telling my mother. I said it wasn't
definite, but I'm going to give it a try and she just said I
wouldn't be suited to nun's lifestyle."
And Anna went on to reveal how unhappiness and worry led to her
eventually leaving the convent. She began to lose her hair through
the pressure of the whole situation and eventually found herself
called up before her Mother Superior.
"She asked whether I wanted to leave the convent and I
just had to say yes even though I wanted to prove something to
myself by staying. So she told me 'You'll spend three days
thinking you'll stay and three days thinking you'll leave, and
then you chose the route you are most at peace with.' The Jesuits
came up with this idea of decision making and I've used it again
for major decisions in my life."
But despite finding herself back in the big bad world, Anna
claimed she had no regrets although she did admit to ensuring she
passed on a special goodbye to a certain young novice she'd taken
a liking to.
And now, of course, she's a member of a totally different
convent.

Anna
Just Wants To Be Herself
|
|
Anna shed tears over the newcomer breaking into the Big Brother
"cocoon".
She vented her anguish about the change in the house since
Claire's arrival at the weekend.
"It's becoming easier because we're all getting closer but
the new person coming in has changed things," she complained.
"It's made me feel on edge."
Big Brother reassured her: "A new person will inject
something good into the house but feeling odd in inevitable."
Anna wondered once more what Claire might know about them all.
"Now something outside has come in and made us think that
we're not in a little cocoon. She knows so much more than we know
and we can only appreciate a little part of her."
Claire might even have hinted at things she's seen from the
outside. "But it is really weird that Claire has seen things
we haven't seen," said Anna. "She even noticed how we
have changed and developed. In a way we are happy not knowing
about reality."
Anna finally broke down as she confessed that "Another
level of non- trusting has now come into it. I feel I don't want
to open myself up again."
But Big Brother was quick to lend a virtual shoulder. "You
made a really good come-back after the last time you wanted to
leave."
Anna took a deep breath. "I know I'll get over the mood
I'm in. I'm relieved I stayed," she said, and explained that
she was missing physical contact with people and there was no one
in the house to give her a hug and support.
When Big Brother suggested she talk to the group, Anna
defiantly refused. "It's not anything anyone can deal
with," she said.
