Smallkat vents her spleen about SOME
blokes behaviour on ICQ. She knows that most men are NOT like that. Really.
I know that the net is synonymous with sex, but I'm not a porn star, and I'm
not
looking for sex on the net.
And yet, I still get unsolicited comments from men via icq. "Are you wearing
suspenders?", "Are you hot?".
My answer is normally "F**k off", which probably doesn't help matters, since I
am then accused of being a frigid bitch.
I'm not alone in this harassment though, many other women out there are bombarded daily
with this questions, and more explicit ones to boot.
It doesn't matter that you put on your information text that you aren't looking for sex,
you'll still get these comments.
I'm now very wary of who I speak to on icq, there are only a few men on my list, and I now
feel relieved when I ignore those losers.
Chat to any man on icq about this subject, and they just don't believe that it happens. It
does, I can assure you.
It's frightening despite that fact that there is no physical contact. You can feel
threatened, intimidated, and sometimes it seems as if the womens movement never happened.

If you are on the net and are a women, you are there for sex.
An object of desire and lust, and not a thinking, feeling person.
So if there are any men who are thinking about contacting me via icq;
I'm not sexy, I'm not telling you what I'm wearing, and I'm not sending you my photo.
