| | The Shoulders
The construction of the shoulders commenced with the finishing
of the fiberglass pulled from the Mould. The holes were cut to accommodate the
plunger and exterminator, both made of metal tubing.
The shoulder straps and slats were made from Perspex sheet. This was used
as it is easy to cut and bend. It also can be glued together by a hot glue gun
which makes construction very fast. The wire mesh had to be specially
ordered from a local sheet metal supplier and proved to be the second most
expensive component!

Shoulders painted in primer and ready for the addition of
straps and slats |
| Straps added and held in place with hot melt glue. The gap
between slat and main body was achieved by gluing several small pieces of Perspex
off cuts together |

Slats fitted (with hot glue again) and shoulders painted
with gray primer. Its amazing what a coat of paint will cover up.. |
