Business Health Check
What is a Business Health Check?
Business Health Check is all about ensuring you are using the best shift pattern to meet your current operational requirements. As part of this service we will assess your current operational needs, and then compare this with your current shift pattern. We will then evaluate the shift pattern and recommend any improvements. If the current shift pattern is not fit for purpose then we will suggest an alternative shift pattern and an evaluation of how the new shift pattern will fit into your business. This will include a migration plan and contingency procedures to avoid disruption to the operation.
As part of this service we can do a limited analysis of your operational requirements through discussions with the Production, Service and/or Operations Managers. This will cover an hour by hour assessment for the operational needs with maximum, ideal and minimum staffing levels. We will also review times when the operation was stretched and when there was spare capacity in the system to gain an overall view of the operational requirements of your business. This is the criteria against which we will assess the current and proposed shift pattern.
The assessment of the current shift pattern will be to check if it is meeting your current requirements and where any short falls are occurring. Assess if these short falls can be rectified under the current system or whether a new shift pattern would be better. The pros and cons of the new and old shift pattern will be covered in our report.

The inclusive package will take two weeks to complete with a meeting at the start and a presentation of the finding at the conclusion. The cost will be £5000 +VAT (within the United Kingdom).
