Surrey County Target Archery Team news

If you have a score which is Bowman or above for adult recurve or compound archers, or is first class for junior archers and longbow, you may like to submit your score for consideration for selection for Surrey teams by following this link:

Robert Gascoigne is temporary manager of the junior team for the SCAS Junior Inter-Counties event to be held in Essex on Sunday 16th August 2009. The selected junior team will be as follows:

Andrew Trimble has taken over as Chairman of the team selectors and Surrey Records Officer. Team selection is based on an average of an archer's best three scores over the last three years. Metric scores are converted to the appropriate York / Hereford / Bristol rounds. Cut off date for this selection was July 19th 2009. Teams have to include one female.

Senior Longbow and Junior Recurve archers should be at 1st class standard or above. Senior recurve and compound archers should be at Bowman or above standard. The next team selection will be in Spring 2010. Please note that Surrey record claims must now be submitted through your club records officer.
